Overview

The Public Works Department plays an important role in everyday life here in Boone. The Public Works Department oversees the maintenance and operation of the Town's infrastructure. This includes everything from pothole repair and snow removal to the Town of Boone's Recycling and Composting programs. As our largest department, with multiple different divisions and subdivisions, our Public Works Department works tirelessly to provide an enjoyable experience for residents and visitors alike in our litPublic Works Center Signtle mountain town.

Citizens Service Request

One of the easiest ways to request a service is by using our Citizens Service Request! Do you need a curbside collection of yard debris? Or has a street sign been knocked down or taken? Take a look at the Citizens Service Request and submit a request, and someone from our Public Works Department will contact you shortly after and help schedule the pick up or repair.

The Public Works Request and Concern Form is for general complaints or concerns for Public Works. If you need immediate assistance, please contact Public Works at (828) 268-6230. If this is a safety risk after hours, please contact 911.
